Hear What Our Past Attendees Had To Say
The Quintessential Meeting Place For The Ethernet Community In Asia/Pacific
Carrier Ethernet represents a fundamental transformation in carrier networking due in part to its intrinsic scalability and its ability to deliver cost-effective, flexible and high-performance solutions to Service Providers and end-users.
Carrier Ethernet APAC is the largest and most comprehensive event looking at the technologies behind Carrier Ethernet from the service provider perspective while addressing the distinctive regional framework. CE APAC features more than 45 operator and solution provider presentations and panel discussions. Attendees have a unique opportunity to learn from the experience of Asian telecom operators advancing the Ethernet market, with case studies exploring everything from the making of the business case to mobile backhaul to entering the world of Ethernet Cloud Services.

The 2013 Carrier Ethernet APAC & SDN & NFV Asia Summit show brought together carriers, service providers, enterprises, vendors & associations, hosted in Singapore, to discuss the future of the carrier network.
Keynote presentations across both events included case studies from leading carriers across the region came from host operator Singtel, along with NTT DoCoMo, Telkom Indonesia, T-Mobile, Sri Lanka Telecom, Telstra, PCCW, KVH, PTCL, Pacnet.
Top sponsors Cisco, Alcatel Lucent, Ciena, Juniper, Tellabs & MRV provided key updates on the work being done by vendors towards the future of Carrier Ethernet & the transition towards a software defined architecture for carriers.
The return to Singapore for the 6th Annual Carrier Ethernet APAC, the official MEF APAC congress, hosted thought leading case studies and interactive discussions to analyse the current Ethernet market in Asia-Pacific. Topics included the future of Carrier Ethernet, synchronization across networks, fuelling the adoption of Carrier Cloud and ensuring that industry standards meet customer expectations.
Carrier Ethernet APAC hosted interactive panel and roundtable discussions covering Carrier Cloud, Service &Interconnect, Access & Convergence and Backhaul. Over at SDN & NFV Summit, the day closed with a fantastic service provider-only panel featuring SingTel, Pacnet & KVH, who are all actively employing SDN solutions into their networks, on the Software Defined Data Centre. Discussion revealed that real-life SDN is currently in beta phase in 2013, but it looks as though 2014 will see the rise of active, live SDN deployments
